Avalon Of The Heart

This is a slightly different palette to my usual works with more emphasis on mood and tone. Based on personal experience in a beautiful part of the Lake District called Eskdale, I wanted to portray a mystical and enchanting place that is also inspired by the Van Morrison song of the same title. An other worldly place where a deep and spiritual connection is made, this 'Avalon' - set amongst mysterious standing stones - is very much open to your own interpretation...
